Just over a month ago, Adidas released their SUPERB Celebrate Originality "House Party" ad. This video included celebrity stars like David Beckham, Katy Perry, Kevin Garnett, Missy Elliott, and Mark Gonzales. Sky 1 has now made a hilarious parody to promote The Simpsons. Featuring celebrity stars like Homer, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Marge...not one to be missed!

Got something to advertise but don't know how to sell it? Then why not contact Liverpool striker Fernando Torres?
I only mention this after the spanish star turned up on the web, apparently advertising tennis lessons and a dog training school on behalf of his mates.
Im wondering if the subtle Nike branding suggests a corporate hand at work behind the scenes. Surely not! And anyway, everyone knows that sort of subliminal advertising doesn't work. Must dash – off to buy a new pair of trainers.

Shepard Fairey - Street Artist: OBEY
'I've always felt that the public space is the best place for art. The arguement that graffiti is an eye sore and advertising is ok because it's paid for, seems a little bit ridiculous to me'......
KAWS
He began his career as a graffiti artist growing up in New Jersey. Later moving to New York City in the 1990s, KAWS started subverting imagery on billboards, bus shelters and phone booth advertisements. These reworked advertisements were at first left alone, lasting for up to several months, but as KAWS’ popularity skyrocketed, the ads became increasingly sought after. In addition to New York, KAWS has done work in Paris, London, Berlin and Tokyo.

SozyOne
After seeing a set of 3 canvas's in the Carhartt store in Covent Garden i had to do my research to find out who produced them.
SozyOne is from Brussels and possesses some raw talent. I was lucky enough to be given this photo by a good friend, it was taken in the Carhartt warehouse as part of an exhibition.

Poesie-album Images
Poesie album - A book in which family members and friends leave kind and friendly messages and pictures. Popular in Holland with young children.
Whilst sorting out he useful clutter from the not so useful, I came across these images. Once used to fill my friends Poesie albums they had been forgotten along with other Dutch belongings. The pictures themselves have character, something which is often lacking in modern images.

I have admired the character designs of Jon Burgerman since I first saw them in Computer Arts magazine. His character designs are very child like using thick black lines and bright colours.
On Youtube I found an interesting clip where Jon Burgerman created a black and white mural in Derby, using the people as inspiration. He then got the community involved to do the colouring in. Take a look.

Obey Obama
I know we're late to the party on this one, but Shepard Fairey has endorsed Barack Obama via graphic design. You probably know Shepard Fairey from "Obey Giant" stickers and posters strategically placed in a city near you.
According to the Creative Review Blog, the Obama campaign said Fairey wasn't on the campaign payroll, and created these posters on his own. Fairey offers the following on his site:
”I believe with great conviction that Barack Obama should be the next President. I have been paying close attention to him since the Democratic convention in 2004. I feel that he is more a statesman than a politician. He was against the war when it was an unpopular position (and Hillary was for the war at that time), Obama is for energy and environmental conservation. He is for healthcare reform. Check him out for yourself: barackobama.com. Proceeds from this print go to produce prints for a larger statewide poster campaign.”
